 PERSONNEL DOSSIER
NAME Hermann Gottlieb, PhD
ASSIGNED TEAM Kaiju Science, ID S-HGOT_47.20-V
DATE OF ACTIVE SERVICE May 28, 2015
CURRENT SERVICE STATUS Active; based Hong Kong Shatterdome

BIOGRAPHY
Born Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, June 9, 1989. Married to Vanessa. First child due April 2025. Third of four children; older brother Dietrich and sister Karla, younger brother Bastien. Parents scientists. Father, Dr. Lars Gottlieb, participated in Jaeger Project (q.v.) and is now overseeing Pacific Perimeter Program of Wall construction and civil defense infrastructure improvement. Displayed early aptitude for abstract mathematics, completed studies at TU Berlin in engineering and applied sciences. Wrote programming code for first-generation Jaeger operating systems. Has constructed highly accurate models predicting frequency of kaiju attacks. Also responsible for advances in understanding the physics and structure of the Breach itself. Refer Operation Pitfall dossier (highly classified). Psych evaluation reveals fundimental need to create distance between self and any problem, using data and mathematics as buffer. Obsessive neatness of person and workspace also reveals this impulse to maintain controlling distance. Currently estranged from father due to differences of opinion about value of Jaeger project as opposed to Pacific Perimeter Program.

NOTES
Inveterate filer of complaints, primarily against Kaiju Science colleague Dr. Newton Geiszler (q.v.). PPDC psychological staff recommends accepting but not acting on these complaints.

PERSONNEL DOSSIER
NAME Newton Geiszler, PhD
ASSIGNED TEAM Kaiju Science, ID S-NGEI_100.11-Y
DATE OF ACTIVE SERVICE August 7, 2016
CURRENT SERVICE STATUS Active; based Hong Kong Shatterdome

BIOGRAPHY
Born Berlin January 19, 1990. Only child. Parents musicians. Strongly influenced by uncle, musical engineer, who taught Geiszler the basics of electronics; also avid consumer of manga and monster movies. Combination of these influences and genius-level intellect led Geiszler to voracious interest in all sciences. Second youngest student admitted to Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Received six doctorates by 2015, taught MIT 2010-2016, pioneered research in artificial tissue replication. Joined PPDC 2016. Psychological profile indicates profound ambivalence toward kaiju resulting from conflict between childhood adoration of monsters and contemporary observation of kaiju attacks. Borderline manic personality, poor social skills. Has performed critical research leading to upgraded Jaeger armaments.

NOTES
Unorthodox approach causes chain-of-command issues; these are to be handled lightly due to Geiszler's outstanding record of research and reverse engineering Anteverse biotechnologies. Service file contains written complaints from Kaiju Science colleague Dr. Hermann Gottlieb regarding Geiszler's laboratory procedures, personal demeanor, taste in music, and other minor issues. Complaints deemed nonessential. No action is to be taken.
 PERSONNEL DOSSIER
NAME Mako Mori
ASSIGNED TEAM Rangers, ID R-MMAK_204.19-V
DATE OF ACTIVE SERVICE March 4, 2020
CURRENT SERVICE STATUS Active; based Hong Kong Shatterdome

BIOGRAPHY
Born April 23, 2003. Father Masao Mori, swordmaker. Mother Sumako Mori. Only child. Grew up in Tanegashima in a small village. First trip to Tokyo, when her father required treatment for cancer, coincided with attack of kaiju Onibaba, in which both of her parents died. She was close witness to the end of the battle between Onibaba and Coyote Tango.
Mori was orphaned and Coyote Tango's pilot, Stacker Pentecost, took an interest in her. Pentecost adopted Mori and saw her put through school. He is ambivalent about her choice to join the Jaeger program, acknowledging her mechanical and engineering skills but concerned that her psychological scars will destabilize any neural handshake she might enter.
Mori is emotionally invested in becoming a pilot-she wishes to avenge her parents and prove her worth due to the common assumption that she is favored by Pentecost. She feels burdened by these motivations, and frustrated because her only path toward redeeming herself is via a combat role in Gipsy Danger.
PPDC psychological staff suggest that while Pentecost may be correct about Mori's emotional fragility, her skill set suits her to a Conn-Pod more than repair bay. As always, however, psychological staff's role in Jaeger assignment is advisory only.

NOTES
Mori has been the technical lead on the Mark III Restoration Project that has restored Gipsy Danger to combat readiness.

PERSONNEL DOSSIER
NAME Hercules Hansen
ASSIGNED TEAM Rangers, ID R-HHan_832.84-G
DATE OF ACTIVE SERVICE November 28, 2015
CURRENT SERVICE STATUS Active; based Hong Kong Shatterdome

BIOGRAPHY
Born November 10, 1980, Sydney, Australia. Parents Donovan and Tess. Younger brother Scott. Son Charles born 14 August 2003. One of the first wave of Rangers, contemporary with Stacker Pentecost, continued in an active role after Pentecost transferred to leadership role within Jaeger Project. First Jaeger, Lucky Seven, destroyed.
Hansen's wife was killed in the kaiju attack on Sydney, September 2, 2014.* Hansen saved his son Chuck, then twelve years of age (and now his co-pilot on Striker Eureka), and transitioned from Air Force to Jaeger program in 2015, as the Jaeger Academy was opening. He is credited with eleven kaiju kills, most recently Mutavore, Sydney, December 27, 2024 (eight of these kills with C. Hansen in Striker Eureka; q.v. Jaeger dossier for full list).

*Her cause of death is unknown due to uncertainty in the aftermath of the twin tactical nuclear strikes that brought the kaiju down. Hansen was told she died due to kaiju activity rather than either nuclear strike. This is the official record.

NOTES
PPDC medical staff suggest that Hansen's number of deployments and advancing age are eroding his reaction times and neural-handshake strength. Operational readiness does not yet appear to be affected. Hansen's readiness must be observed closely, however. Hansen will be a valuable command asset when his combat readiness lapses below acceptable thresholds.
PPDC psychological staff suggest that the tension between Hansen and his son Charles also might affect the strength and duration of their Drift. (See dossier on Charles Hansen.) The younger Hansen is loyal to his father but also constantly seeks to supplant him and assume a dominant role in Striker Eureka's operation. Hansen carries a burden of guilt over difficulties in raising his son after his wife's death. This too is expected to affect the father-son Drift, if it has not already.
The Hansens should be monitored very closely and reassigned if necessary for Jaeger readiness.

MARSHAL PENTECOST EYES ONLY
UNOFFICIAL, RELOCATED FROM PPDC CONTRACTOR REGISTRY

NAME Hannibal Chau (alias); birth name unknown
ASSIGNED TEAM n/a
DATE OF ACTIVE SERVICE n/a
CURRENT SERVICE STATUS n/a

BIOGRAPHY
Unknown. Believed to be American by birth but current citizenship unknown. Resident of Hong Kong. Previous places of residence unknown. Family status unknown.

NOTES
Black marketeer. Previously involved in smuggling of exotic animal parts, possibly drugs and weapons. Known associate of organized crime figures throughout Asia, Russia, Eastern Europe.
Previously contracted through official PPDC channels to assist in recovery of organic materials from fallen kaiju. As of 2021, previous contracting arrangement no longer active. Current arrangement sub rosa, not to be disclosed to ant administrative entity. Chau now investing in Jaeger program in return for specified rights to kaiju remains. Provides specimen material for Kaiju Science analysis.
Chau's fieldwork, criminal though it may be, has made a number of Kaiju Science advances possible. Because he is unscrupulous, he is also innovative. Consider opening direct channels between Kaiju Science and Chau. Gottlieb will resist; Geiszler certain to pursue the opportunity if it arises.
Contact protocols strictly observed. Works from a pharmacy storefront at edge of the Kowloon Boneslum. Present kaiju glyph as passcode.
Notable for the flamboyance of his dress and personal appearance, as well as a scar on the left side of his face.

PERSONNEL DOSSIER
NAME (Marshal) Stacker Pentecost
ASSIGNED TEAM Jaeger Program, ID M-MPEN_970.89-Q
DATE OF ACTIVE SERVICE March 2, 2015
CURRENT SERVICE STATUS Active; deployed Hong Kong Shatterdome

BIOGRAPHY
Born December 30, 1985, Tottenham, England. Parents Obadel, laborer, and Viviane, club performer. Family loosely involved with organized crime. Father died 1995 of wounds suffered in knife fight with nightclub owner. Stacker, then 12, burned club down and attacked father's killer. Sent to military school, realized suitability for military service. Entered Royal Air Force, completed pilot training at Leuchars, continued education in Avionics and Network/Cyber-Facing Defense and Warfare. Deployed to Germany to oversee development of neural bridge controls and ideomotor reflex interface matricesm in liaison with Jaeger Project. Deployed to Sydney to observe construction of first Mark I Jaegers. Given command of Coyote Tango, deployed to Kyoto to oversee final assembly. Active Jaeger service 2015-16, moved into command role after Onibaba engagement at personal request of PPDC Secretary General Dustin Kriegar. Previously commanded Lima and Anchorage Shatterdomes before current assignment to Hong Kong. Instrumental in creation of current Kwoon training and assessment program as well as several other now-standard Ranger training modules.

NOTES
Otherwise exemplary service record marred only by reprimands for questionable judgement in the matter of adoption of Mako Mori (current Ranger, dossier available, q.v.). Medical staff suggest Pentecost's long-term use of Metharocin, post-absorption of high doses if radiation from insufficiently shielded reactors in Coyote Tango, are damaging his circulatory system. Command fitness and readiness should be monitored and successors designated on a High Command level.

*Precise physical location of this kill uncertain, and all evidence was destroyed at Gipsy Danger's self-destruction during the course of Operation Pitfall.

OPERATING SYSTEM
BLPK 4.1 with liquid circuitry neural pathways (upgraded to custom May 1, 2023)

POWER SYSTEM
Nuclear vortex turbine (upgraded and restored 2023)

ARMAMENTS
I-19 particle dispersal cannon, biology-aware plasma weapon, forearm mounted (retractable)
S-11 dark matter pulse launcher (internal mount)
Upgraded as of Mark II Restoration Project: GD-6A Chain Swords, dual-mode: segmented chainwhip or cable-reinforeced nano-edged single blade

NOTES
Remains never recovered. Jaeger presumably vaporized by reactor overload. Any remaining components are presumed to be in the Anteverse.
Opposition from three kaiju, including the first and only known Category V (Slattern [q.v.]), disabled Striker Eureka early in Operation Pitfall. Its crew (S. Pentecost, C. Hansen) detonated the nuclear payload, sacrificing themselves to open a path for Gipsy Danger to successfully close the breach. Striker Euraka's last confirmed kaiju kill, Scunner, occurred at the moment of their self-destruction.
 COMBAT ASSET DOSSIER-JAEGER
NAME Coyote Tango
GENERATION Mark I
DATE OF SERVICE December 30, 2015
DATE OF TERMINATION November 6, 2022

RANGER TEAM(S) ASSIGNED
Stacker Pentecost, Tasmin Sevier; Gunnar Tunari (KIA) Vic Tunari (KIA)

MISSION HISTORY
Coyote Tango was credited with two kaiju kills: Onibaba, Tokyo, May 15, 2016; Ceramander, Hawaii, October 9, 2021. Damage sustained in the Onibaba engagement sidelined Coyote Tango for a full year. It was then held out of deployment for a further period after Kaiju Science and J-Tech teams discovered reactor-shielding issues. During this delay, original pilot Stacker Pentecost was reassigned from active Jaeger service to a command role.

OPERATING SYSTEM
Nautilus-4 Zirca Sync

POWER SYSTEM
Iso-Thor Collision Chamber

ARMAMENTS
Ballistic mortar cannons, shoulder-mounted
V-P1 EnergyCaster, capable of modulation through five modes, forearm-mounted (retractable)

NOTES
Coyote Tango's deployment in Tokyo, May 15, 2016, was the first documented instance of a single Jaeger pilot (Pentecost) controlling a Jaeger following the disability of the second pilot (Sevier) and consequent failure of neural handshake.

Coyote Tango retrofitted with improved reactor shielding following observation of radiation sickness in Mark I Ranger pilots.

Destroyed St. Lawrence Island, November 6, 2022
